F.H. King: Students for Sustainable Agriculture is a student-run agricultural collective connected to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We strive to connect land, food, and the Madison community, demonstrate alternative agricultural techniques and advocate for sustainability in our community. We welcome all UW students and Madison community members to get involved with F.H. King! We are also affiliated with CIAS.
The core of F.H. King is our half-acre organic farm in Eagle Heights. During the growing season, we give out our produce for free on Library Mall through our Harvest Handouts program. Outside of the growing season, F.H. King hosts educational programming, workshops, and community events.
F.H. King is run by a nonhierarchical board of student directors and is supported by a robust community of students. We endeavor to promote equity and justice in our actions and to be inclusive to folks of all identities. Contact us if you want to get involved with our organization!
